Christmas Eve Worship

Updated: Dec 24, 2020

12/24 Update: Due to Technical Difficulty, our afternoon (4pm) Christmas Eve Worship service will be delayed and will go live at 4:50pm. We are sorry for any inconvenience!

On December 24 we will celebrate Christmas Eve with online worship. Our bishop, your pastor and all the leaders of the church know that this is not ideal, but it is our best option at the moment and a lot of work has already gone into making it the best possible online Christmas Eve service. In keeping with the preceding weeks of advent, we have a variety of musicians and other worship leaders taking part! At 4:00pm we will have worship on YouTube and Facebook, as has been our tradition during the pandemic, but we will not really end worship there, but will come back at 11pm for a short closing time of worship live on Zoom with another Christmas Carol, prayer and Silent Night by Candlelight. We encourage worshipers to have some kind of candle that can be lit as Silent Night is sung.

Our 4pm (reschedule to 4:50pm) worship service can be viewed here:

To Access our 11pm Zoom Worship service: You do not need an account. Simply click here to go to the Zoom session. If asked for it, the meeting ID is: 891 6617 4930 and password is: 3444 (last four of the church’s phone number).

If you do not have zoom: you will want to go to the Zoom link anytime between now and Christmas Eve and it will ask you to download some software. Then, after 10:30pm on Christmas Eve go back to the link and with the software already installed on your device and it will open right up into the worship session. If you have any trouble call or text Rev. Carnes by Wednesday and he will be glad to talk through the process with anyone.
