Faith Formation at Abingdon UMC

There are a number of ways to grow in your faith at AUMC and more opportunities are being added all the time.  Whether it's a small group that meets year round or if it's a gathering that assembles for just a few weeks at a time, faith formation is an important aspect of our lives as Christians.  Stay tuned for new offerings!

Adult Bible Study
Periodically we will offer bible studies lead by Pastor Connor on either studies or specific books of the bible. All are welcome and encouraged to attend

Kids Connection

Sunday mornings we offer a fun way to grow in faith for children 4 years to 5th grade during our 9:30am Sunday morning worship service.

Youth Connection

Youth in 4th-8th grades are welcome to attend Youth Connection Sunday nights from 4-5pm. We have fellowship, devotion, snacks and games.

Fellowship Groups

AUMC now offers Fellowship groups with the goal of getting back to our Wesleyan roots of watching over one another in love. These groups will normally meet weekly, have a devotion, check in on the group members and pray for their members and the community.  Please see our church calendar for dates and times.

Each summer Abingdon UMC offers a Vacation Bible School (VBS) program open to preschool through fifth grade students.  For information on our current VBS program, explore our VBS page.

As needed, our Membership Classes provide folks with an overview of The United Methodist Church as well as our basic beliefs.
