Bishop Gregory Vaughn Palmer of Ohio has been selected to serve as interim bishop during Bishop Frank J. Beard’s medical leave. Bishop Palmer is a familiar face within the Illinois Great Rivers Conference, having served as Bishop of the Illinois Area from 2008 to 2012. Bishop Palmer begins his duties for the IGRC effective July 1.
