Feed My Lambs Annual Back to School Picnic, School Supplies, and Backpack Night will be Wednesday, August 10 at the Abingdon Christian Church Pavilion from 5:30 until 7:00 P.M. All students and their families from Abingdon-Avon School District are welcome to eat and receive the backpacks filled with some school supplies.
Help is needed filling the backpacks on Tuesday, August 9 in the dining room at the Abingdon Christian Church at 2:00 P.M. (Enter the church through the Main Street door.) Volunteers are also needed to help with set up, serving food, and distributing the backpacks Wednesday. If you would like to help, please be at the Abingdon Christian Church between 4:00 and 4:30 P.M.
Because of the picnic, Feed My Lambs will pack and deliver the weekly food boxes at an earlier time on Wednesday, August 10. Packing will be at 3:00 P.M. at the Abingdon Christian Church, with delivery at 3:30 P.M. Use the Main Street entrance and proceed to the dining room.
A reminder to those who volunteered to provide cookies, please have your cookies at AUMC by 11:30 A.M. Wednesday, August 10. Please package the cookies two in a baggie.
