When asked, on the last day, “What did you like about VBS?” the children shouted out different things. One of the kids even shouted, “EVERYTHING.” There was something for each one of the Forty-six children! The children and the twenty-seven volunteers collected new and gently-used books for the children of Chaddock School in Quincy. That is a lot of people that were directly affected by this year’s Vacation Bible School. The children learned to ‘go beyond in their faith’ and to do that through kindness and thankfulness.
The children also ’went beyond’ in worship with a performance during the 11:00am worship service that week and all children have been invited to our Fall Sunday School kick-off on September 8.
