Paternity Leave
Updated: Jan 29, 2021

The United Methodist Church provides pastors with 8 weeks of paternity leave upon the arrival of a new child. Our pastor begins his eight-weeks of paternity leave on January 31 as his wife concludes her maternity leave on January 30. Over those eight weeks we will experience a great line-up of guest preachers:
January 31 & March 7 - Rev. Dr. Curtis Brown (Conference Director, IGRC)
February 7 - John Johnson, Church Member
February 14 - Rev. Nicole Cox (Pastor of Willow Hill United Methodist Church)
February 21 - Holly Weidenhamer, Church Member
February 28 - Rev. Beth Fender (Coordinator of Discipleship, IGRC)
March 14 - Rev. Ted Frost (Executive Director, United Methodist Foundation)
March 21 - Dave McKillip, Church Member
During Paternity leave should anyone have a pastoral need (such as a medical concern, a death, or a family or personal struggle) Rev. Carrie Carnes will be covering during Scott’s paternity leave. If you have a pastoral need you may contact the church during office hours or contact Carrie on her cell (see newsletter or call the church office for her number) or by social media outside of church office hours.
